Bracelet & Bangle Size Guide

Find your perfect fit

Our side-opening bangles are sized from 14 to 19 cm. This measurement refers to the bangle’s full circumference when closed, not your wrist measurement. Confirm the exact size and inside dimensions of your chosen design before ordering.

Bracelet vs. bangle

A bangle is a rigid type of bracelet. Flexible bracelets, such as chain or tennis styles, drape around the wrist. Our bangles have a side closure, allowing them to open around your wrist rather than slide over your hand. You therefore do not need to measure your hand’s widest point for these designs.

How to measure your wrist

  1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist where you intend to wear the bangle. Keep it snug without squeezing.
  2. If you do not have a measuring tape, wrap a narrow strip of paper around your wrist and mark the overlap. Lay it flat and measure with a ruler.
  3. Record your wrist circumference in centimeters or millimeters.
  4. Send us your measurement and preferred fit: close-fitting, comfortable with a little movement, or loose.

Your wrist measurement is not automatically the bangle size to order. A rigid bangle’s shape, thickness, and usable inner space affect fit. Please confirm your size with us rather than adding a fixed allowance.

Bangle size chart: 14–19 cm

The chart converts the bangle’s full closed circumference. It does not give recommended wrist sizes. Inch values are approximate. Confirm the sizes available for your chosen design.

Full closed bangle circumference (cm) Millimeters Approximate inches
14 140 5.51
15 150 5.91
16 160 6.30
17 170 6.69
18 180 7.09
19 190 7.48

Compare a bangle you already wear

Choose a side-opening bangle that fits comfortably and close its clasp. Measure its inside dimensions from inner edge to inner edge, excluding the metal. For an oval bangle, record both the longest and shortest inside dimensions. Send these measurements and a photograph to us so we can compare the fit with your chosen piece. Inside dimensions are different measurements from the full circumference shown in our size chart.

General bracelet and bangle measuring illustration

For our side-opening bangles, use the wrist-measuring method shown above. The hand-measuring panel applies only to closed slip-on bangles, not our side-opening designs. The inside-diameter panel is a comparison method, not a conversion of our circumference sizes. Illustration only, not an actual-size measuring tool.

Flexible bracelets

For flexible bracelets, measure your wrist and compare a similar bracelet that fits well. Lay it flat without stretching it and measure its usable length, avoiding double-counting overlapping clasp sections. Confirm the available lengths for the specific piece. Our 14–19 cm bangle chart should not be treated as a universal flexible-bracelet size chart.

Tips for a comfortable fit

  • Measure the wrist you intend to wear the piece on; left and right can differ.
  • Measure at a normal temperature and repeat on more than one occasion.
  • Avoid stretchy string and use a physical ruler or measuring tape.
  • Do not bend or force a rigid bangle to change its fit.
  • Professional measuring is recommended for valuable or made-to-order pieces.

Confirm your size before ordering

Email sales@ezejewelry.com with your chosen piece, wrist circumference, preferred fit, and any inside dimensions from a well-fitting bangle. Include units with every measurement.

Resizing suitability depends on the design, setting, and materials. Please confirm before purchasing rather than assuming a bangle can be resized.
